Driving instructor coaching
As an ORDIT registered ADI trainer, Steve has helped many people achieve their goal of starting a new career as a driving instructor. He has also helped qualified ADIs achieve excellent results on their Standards Checks.
Steve is an ORDIT registered, GRADE 'A' (51/51 marks) ADI and has over ten years’ experience as a DVSA Driving Examiner, conducting the Part 2 and Part 3 tests and Standards Checks. You will be getting your coaching from someone who has first-hand knowledge of what is required to provide high quality driving instruction, and to ensure your ADI test success!
Part 2 – Through expert coaching you too can achieve the high standard of driving required for the ADI Part 2 qualification test.
If you have passed your Part 1 and are looking for full training, Steve offers an assessment session and Part 2 training package.
Part 3 – Steve can help you to thoroughly understand what is required to demonstrate your ability to instruct, and pass the ADI Part 3 qualification test. You may already have the skills but are unsure of the test requirements. You may also have had one or two attempts already and been advised to seek further training. If you have passed your Part 2 and are looking for full training Steve offers a complete 40 hour Part 3 training package.
Sessions can include:-
Role play – No longer part of the test, but an excellent coaching tool.
Observed lesson – Observed live lesson delivery and feedback / coaching.
General Q/A – All your queries and concerns answered.
Additional 20 hours - If you are a PDI looking for additional training, Steve can also offer this service through 'observed lessons'. A two hour session watching you instruct followed by detailed feedback.
Standards Check – Steve can help you prepare for this important day, by helping you build on your existing skills, to meet the requirements of the Standard Check.

Some examples could include:- the teaching of Independent driving / Sat Nav, manoeuvres, faster roads, roundabouts, the driving test and mock testing.
